Giving Back to the Community

Volunteer

Volunteering at the YMCA is a wonderful way to make a positive impact in your community. Whether it’s coaching youth sports, being a school age mentor, fundraising for our various campaigns, or becoming an active member of our board of directors, it is a fulfilling way to give back to your community while also building your skills, staying active, and connecting with others. Consider becoming a volunteer today!

Financial Assistance

The YMCA offers financial assistance to help individuals and families who may not be able to afford a membership. To apply for financial assistance, you will need to provide documentation of your income through your most recent tax returns, and your household size. It’s important to note that even if you do receive financial assistance, you will still be responsible for paying a portion of the membership fee. However, the amount you pay will be reduced based on the level of assistance you receive.

The YMCA is a non-profit organization that aims to empower young people, promote healthy living, and strengthen communities. Your donation to the Y provides many benefits including supporting a large range of programs and services designed to help children, teens, adults, and seniors reach their full potential along with strengthening your community by providing spaces for people to gather and connect.

The Y is a 501-C3 Nonprofit, so all donations are 100% tax deductible.
