Child Watch for ages 2 – 8 years

This program is offered to parents who are using the YMCA’s facilities such as the gym, pool, or other activities. It is available to children between 2 and 8 years old while their parents are present in the building. It’s offered multiple times a day, please check for updates as times/schedule change based on programs offered.

School Age Childcare Options for ages 5 – 12 

The YMCA offers a variety of childcare programs to support families and provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow. Here are some examples of programs offered for school age children:

Summer Day Camp

YMCA summer camps provide a fun and educational experience for children during the summer months. Campers are grouped by gender and age to participate in a variety of activities. Activities include but are not limited to swimming, hiking, arts and crafts, outdoor education, archery, STEM learning, character development, and sports.

Parent’s Night Out

During the School Year we offer a monthly parent’s night out program which provides childcare for a few hours to give parents the opportunity to take a break, run errands, or enjoy a night out without the kids.

Childwatch has 2 hour time limit and is for Henderson YMCA Members ONLY between the ages of 2-8 years old.

No Vacation Plans? No Problem! Our YMCA offers all day childcare for school aged children (ages 5-12) during most school holidays. Camps run from 7AM-6PM and the kids get to do many of the same great activities offered during Summer Day Camp. Holiday Camps offered annually include….

Fall Break, Winter Break (Christmas Holidays), & Spring Break.
